1、 Overview
The BR-KH transparent simulation teaching elevator for both passenger and freight is an experimental demonstration teaching equipment designed to complement the development of elevator professional and industrial automation professional courses in colleges, technical schools, vocational schools, labor employment training centers, special equipment testing centers, elevator operation certificates, elevator maintenance and property management, etc. Its appearance adopts transparent imported organic glass material, which enables students to better understand the use, structural principles, operating principles, and control methods of elevators, cultivating more elevator professionals to meet the development needs of elevators and automation. After multiple on-site inspections, our company has collaborated with elevator experts to develop a simulation teaching model for passenger elevators (TKJ) and freight elevators (THJ). The passenger elevator is a 1:1 traction type, The door opening method is split in the middle, the freight elevator is a 2:1 traction type, and the door opening method is a double fold left door opening, which can help students understand and visually see the operation status of each operating mechanism.
The electrical control system of the elevator adopts an imported programmable logic controller (PLC, Mitsubishi, Japan) for intelligent control and frequency conversion (VVVF, Yaskawa, Japan) for voltage regulation, speed regulation, and frequency regulation drive. Its component structure, working principle, and function are exactly the same as the actual elevator, and it is equipped with a safety clamp speed limiter and an overspeed safety protection system.
2、 The basic structure of elevators
1. Computer room section:
Including traction machine, brake, speed limiter, traction wheel, guide wheel or rewind wheel, manual disc wheel, control cabinet, power switch, elevator lighting switch, and shaft lighting switch.
2. Entrance section:
Car, car guide rail, counterweight guide rail, counterweight frame, buffer, limit switch, limit switch, control cable, carrying cable, speed limiter steel wire rope tensioning device
3. Car section:
It is composed of a car, safety gear, guide shoes, automatic door opening and closing machine, leveling device, control box, command button inside the car, floor indicator light, car lighting, maintenance box inside the car, and car door combination.

3、 The basic functions of elevators
A. Overspeed safety protection system
When an unexpected accident occurs in the elevator, the car may exceed the speed limit or slide down at high speed (such as a broken wire rope, detachment of the car roof pulley, failure of the traction machine's worm gear and worm gear, and excessive motor deceleration). At this point, the speed limiter will urgently brake, driving the safety caliper to move through the safety cable and connecting rod mechanism, so that the car can be stuck on the guide rail without falling.
B. Car, reusable spring buffer device
A buffer is a safety device at the extreme position of an elevator. When the elevator malfunctions and causes the car or counterweight to squat at the bottom or hit the top (limit switch protection fails), the car or counterweight collides with the spring buffer, which absorbs the energy of the elevator and slows down the car or counterweight safely until it comes to a stop.
C. Upper and lower limit switches:
Install this switch at the upper and lower ends of the elevator shaft, and install it within the upper and lower limit switches. The purpose is to protect the lower box from exceeding this range. If it exceeds the upper or lower limit, the motor will automatically stop and not work. The difference between the upper and lower limit switches is that this switch will not power off.
D. Hall door automatic closing device
The opening and closing of elevator floor doors are achieved through door blades installed on the car door. Each floor door is equipped with a door lock. After the landing door is closed, the mechanical locking hook of the door lock engages, and the elevator can only start running at this time.
E. Landing door interlock switch:
When the doors of all floors are closed, the elevator can be lifted or lowered. If the doors of one floor are open, the elevator cannot operate.
F. Terminal limit switch safety protection system
Terminal limit switches are installed on the top and bottom floors of the elevator shaft. When the elevator loses control due to a malfunction and the car collides with the top or squats at the bottom, the terminal limit switch will act, issue an alarm signal, and cut off the control circuit, causing the car to stop running.
